John Nottingham’s USA Martial Arts is proud to be hosting the Korean Eagle Taekwondo Demonstration Team from the Dondomoongu District in Seoul, South Korea. One of Korea’s premier Martial Arts All-Black Belt Demonstration/Performance Teams headed by Grandmasters Jung Hwan Jin and Chang Joo Park, the Team travels the world dazzling their audiences with high flying kicks and amazing feats of board breaking.

Here in the United States, the Korean Eagle Team has performed for thousands of children in public and private schools, at Shriner’s Childrens Hospitals, sporting events and for local Dignitaries and Officials. Touring around the world, the Team has performed for Her Majesty, The Queen at Buckingham Palace and more.

The demonstration and show put on by these children, ages 8 – 16, is second to none and a must see for anyone who appreciates great talent, focus, discipline and concentration. Taekwondo, based on traditional Korean Martial Arts, is the world’s most popular martial arts due to its organization, the benefits of confidence, fitness and focus and its trademark spectacular kicking techniques.

JOHN NOTTINGHAM”S USA MARTIAL ARTS – CULTURAL EXCHANGE
John Nottingham’s signature school is located in north Scottsdale where the Eagle Team will be performing for local school children and the community.    In addition, while visiting, the Team will be hosted by students and families and get a taste of life in the USA. They will be visiting local attractions, schools and taking in a Diamondbacks baseball game.

In 1998 and 2000 Master Nottingham lead a team of his students to Korea for a tour, training with the Eagle Team and cultural exchange. The students had the opportunity to meet with the Mayor and several dignitaries of the Dongdemoongu District of Seoul and gained media attention, appearing on the local news. There, Master Nottingham and USA Martial Arts was honored with recognition as an official sister school.

In 2007, Master Nottingham and students returned to South Korea to attend the First Taekwondo World Culture Expo and Championship. Master Nottingham’s students competed in the tournament and took home an impressive 6 Gold Medals.

This is the 6th time master Nottingham will be hosting the Eagle team here in the United States. Past performances have included schools in Arizona, Illinois, Utah, California, and Washington. Scottsdale Mayor Mary Manross attended last year’s performance as part of the Grand Opening Celebration of Master John Nottingham’s USA Martial Arts of Scottsdale. Representatives were also invited from the local police, fire and community departments.

August 16th, 2008

If you have ever wondered about the importance of eating organic foods this information will be interesting. I pulled it from a report on a study on how pesticides saturate foods.

The report lists the fruits and veggies with the lowest and highest saturation of pesticides and what is important or not to get organically grown. Kind of interesting stuff: Please forward to all you think would be interested and benefit. A quick summary is below.

I don’t believe most people get enough of the right stuff in their diets for optimal nutrition.

Original article:

Eagles soar over Sandy

August 6th, 2008

Korean Eagles Tae Kwon Do Demo TeamThe high flying action of the Korean Eagles Tae Kwon Do demonstration team was a smashing success at LaCaille French Restaurant which hosted the first annual Break the Chain Foundation Night of Vision and Hope. The venue was stunningly beautiful, with a taste of France featuring lakes, peacocks, bunny’s and the wonderful french elegance in their lavish decor that looked like a magnificent postcard photo in every direction. The entertainment was top notch and the guest were very pleasant.  See the video here.

Hosted by Master Brett Lechtenberg the night was a great platform to share the vision any goals of the break the chain foundation. Helping raise funds and awareness to make life better for children who are victims of abuse and neglect. Honored at the show were board members, eagle team Masters and Phoenix branch supporters, master John Nottingham and Anthony Miles of Karatebody.net and 4th Wall Productions, LLC www.4thwalltvandfilm.com
